My name is Robert Fullerton. I'm a database website developer and an internet marketing consultant based out of Hamilton Ontario. This is my personal web site.

My specialty is professional quality database web sites. I have developed a content management system that makes it easy to update the text, pictures and web site navigation. My sites are powered by asp.net and are hosted at a premium web hosting facility.

I currently manage Datascapes Web Design. I also co-manage the Hamilton Cares web site (A resource for Hamilton Charity Events)

My sites perform well on Google, Yahoo, Microsoft and other major search engines. I offer a complete SEO (Search Engine Optimization) package for smaller organizations. The internet marketing package includes listing in local directories, web page design optimization, Site Maps, Google Adwords, Yahoo Sponsored Search and much more.

I have designed an ecommerce web site framework that is perfect for organizations that want to process credit card payments for shopping carts and online donations. The web site can be linked to Paypal or any online payment processing service.

I have recently launched three large intranet web sites for Canadian National Centres of Excellence. These web sites are web portals with private members pages.

Marketing Trends

Local Search
The major search engines are putting a lot of effort into local search results. They realize that approx. 60% of all searches are local in nature. Google , Yahoo and MSN all offer local search results integrated with city maps, directions and reviews. You do not want to miss out on this marketing opportunity, the potential traffic from Google local search is much more than the traditional business directories.

Google Ranking Logic
Google dominates the Canadian search engine market. Over 60% of all searches in Canada originate from Google. To keep their status, they need to ensure that their search results are spam free and relevent. To acheive this, they are continually changing their ranking logic, you need to be aware of these changes or you will find your site slipping in the rankings.
